About Me (Sarah McDermott)
My husband and I started our furnished holiday let business, Maison Parfaite, back in 2018. We actually began by focusing on our first company-owned buy-to-let and a house in multiple occupations (HMO). But I have to confess, that left me feeling a bit unfulfilled. And then, it was like a light bulb went off: furnished holiday lets! By the autumn of 2018, we’d bought our first UK holiday home in the stunning Yorkshire Dales, and that’s truly when our love affair with serviced accommodation began.
Fast forward to 2024, and can you believe it? I’ve built an eight-figure portfolio and a seven-figure annual income in just five years. It still amazes me! With the property business continuing to thrive and grow, I’m now in a position to fulfill my biggest passion: helping others achieve similar success. Because, as I always say, 'If we can do it, starting from absolutely nothing, there’s absolutely no reason why you can’t do it too.
